Mother Nature's an artist and these flowers are certainly one of the best creations by her. So much thoughts gone into the creation. Wonder what if there wasn't a gradient and the flowers would have been flat colored?

We've just come home from a holiday which included Utah and Nevada but didn't see any desert roses! Do they grow wild, or were we just too late?

I love this plant and the two tones of the flower. The leaves almost look like Rhododendron. You really don't need an slr...your camera takes great pics!

So that's a dessert rose ... I bought one at an end-of-summer sale and kept it indoor, sadly, it's not looking very healthy. Hopefully, it will show me a sign of life in the spring.

Is the plant yours? In Malaysia, they like to cut the stems to encourage a thick main stem. Do you do it in Philipines.
